Total Far-Infrared Coverage
Attractive and Functional Storage
Dome Controls

"A sauna used to be thought of as a luxury. But studies now confirm that diet and environmental chemicals cause 95% of cancers. Futhermore, as the first generation of man exposed to such an unprecedented plethora of daily chemicals, we have learned that stored or undetoxified chemicals can mimic any disease. 'Incurable' chronic diseases that were once thought to have no known cause can often disappear once toxic chemicals are gone. Since the far infrared sauna is the safest, most efficacious and economical way of depurating stored toxins, this makes it a household necessity"
- Sherry Rogers MD

MORE EFFECTIVE EXPOSURE TO FAR INFRARED RAYS
The whole interior of the Dome is the heating element. There are no dead spots. Therefore the far infrared rays directly bath the whole side of the body. The distance to the wall is very close since the size of the dome is small. This means exposure is full and absorption is deep. Since far infrared rays are most concentrated at the point of the heating element and weaken with distance the distance to the heating element becomes much like sitting close or far from a fire, the greater the distance the weaker the effect. The construction of walk in saunas have only a minor amount of their interior walls as the heating element. The location of these heating elements are at various distances from the body. The overall direct exposure and penetration of FIR is considerably better in the SAUNA DOME.

LAYING DOWN IS THE MOST BENEFICAL WAY TO SAUNA
Laying down is the most effective and comfortable way to take a sauna. Not only is it more relaxing but there are important physiological reasons why laying down is more therapeutic than sitting. Laying down in the dome promotes distinct cardiovascular and neurological advantages. Laying down relieves the nervous system and cardiovascular system of the extra stress that is required to maintain an erect posture. Gravity places a burden on the system which is why the rest and repair of sleep is naturally laying down. The cardiovascular system is relieved from postural demands in the a laying down position. Under the heat stress which is common in a sauna the regulation of internal body responses toward self healing is maximized with the greatest degree of relaxation. Keeping the head outside and cool while laying down is the optimal way to get the most benefits with the least discomfort.

DETOXIFICATION
Increased circulation and improved oxygenation with increased core body temperature from FIR promote improved exchange of nutrients into cells and the discharge of toxins. Observation from Asia support that FIR has a broad range of benefits in a wide variety of health conditions.

DEEP RELAXATION
In just minutes the SAUNA DOME will deeply relax the body. Used as day therapy in the home or in a clinic rapid rest and restoration of energy and release of tension is achieved.

IMPROVED CIRCULATION
If there was one single factor that could be considered the greatest general contributor to maintaining, improving or restoring health it would be good circulation. The health of the whole system depends on the movement of blood and energy throughout. By dilating blood vessels and penetrating deeply into he body the SAUNA DOME increases and strengthens circulation without causing any stress on the system.

IMMUNE SYSTEM SUPPORT
There is famous saying in medicine dating back thousands of years "give me a good enough fever and there is no disease that I couldn't cure". This wisdom is testimony to the profound healing effects that happen when body temperature rises. Hyperthermia increases the immune response within the body. As core body temperature rises their is corresponding increase in immune chemicals and the self healing abilities of the body become more effective. Today there is a lot of work being done in the area of heat shock proteins and cancer. The SAUNA DOME raises core body temperature and gives the user the gift of ripened harvest of one's own immune systems healing chemicals.

Some weight loss authorities believe that our bodies use fat to dilute toxins. As an infrared heat sauna is an unsurpassed expeller of toxins, it is also a great way to get rid of any fat our bodies are using to dilute toxins we are storing.

Beauty:
Your infrared sauna is excellent for increasing blood circulation to the skin, which is essential for beautiful, youthful, glowing skin! A new "inner Glow" as the skin is free of accumulated dirt and dry skin cells, due to deep cleansing of impurities! Help acne, eczema, psoriasis, burns and any skin lesions or cuts.

  • Open wounds heal quicker with reduced scarring.
  • Removes roughness, leaving skin baby smooth and soft again.
  • Firms and improves skin tone and elasticity.

Scars on Skin:
Scars fully formed, even keloids, may be gradually softened. Burns and other wounds or incisions may heal with significantly reduced scarring.

Cellulite:
Cellulite is a gel-like substance made up of fat, water and wastes which are trapped in pockets below the skin. An infrared sauna can assist this condition, as profuse sweating helps clear this form of unwanted debris from the body. European Beauty Specialists confirm: a sauna will greatly speed any anti-cellulite program! Due to at least twice the depth of heat penetration into cellulite combined with up to 10 times the level of heating in these tissues your infrared sauna can be significantly more effective than any conventional sauna.

Relieve Pain: Effective for arthritis, back pain, muscle spasm, headache, etc.

Injuries: Radiant heat helps with sprains, strains, arthritis, muscle spasm and pain. If you are an athlete, your infrared sauna is all good news. It allows oxygen debt to be repaid more quickly. That’s likely to lead to improved and quicker healing of sprains and muscle pain for you!

Runners: Your infrared sauna is the perfect solution for keeping up your cardiovascular fitness while avoiding a run on a difficult weather day – days you may want to just skip a workout or when you need to rest to allow an injury to heal. Also, your infrared sauna is great for warming up before stretching or staring any vigorous activity. You simply get in your infrared sauna with your clothes on and allow the infrared rays to pour right through your clothing until you just begin to break a sweat. Now you are pre-warmed for stretching, skiing, running in cold conditions, etc. For the maximal stretching benefit from this system you will need a 40-minute sauna before your stretching. Research indicates that stretching after a 40-minute sauna session should produce a 1/2% permanent increase in your flexibility. Even one 20-minute session may create temporary increase in your flexibility of up to 10%. As a warm-up, your infrared sauna should help to prevent injuries and enhance your ability to stay with your training program or enjoy any outdoor activity. Your infrared sauna is also great cold weather post-activity warm-up. Especially for any frostbitten areas.

Relaxation & Enjoyment: Remove stress in the comfortable warm temperature with a fresh air vent for easy breathing.

Outstanding Caloric Consumption and Weight Control:
In Guyton’s Textbook of Medical Physiology, we find that producing one gram of sweat requires 0.586 kcal. The JAMA citation referred to above goes on to state that, "A moderately conditioned person can easily sweat off 500 gms. In a sauna, consuming nearly 300 kcal- the equivalent of running 2-3 miles. A heat-conditioned person can easily sweat off 600-800-kcal with no adverse effects. While the weight of the water loss can be regained by dehydration with water, the calories consumed will not be." Since an infrared sauna helps generate two to three times the sweat produced in a hot-air sauna, the implications for increased caloric consumption are quite impressive. Assuming "a sauna" as mentioned in JAMA, to last for 30 minutes, some interesting comparisons may be drawn. Two of the highest calorie output forms of exercise are rowing and marathon running. Peak output on a rowing machine or during a marathon run burns about 600 calories in 30 minutes.

Your infrared sauna can, thus, play a pivotal role in both weight control and cardiovascular conditioning. This would be easily valuable for those who don’t exercise and those who can’t exercise, yet want effective weight control and fitness maintenance program and the benefits that regular exercise can contribute to such a program.

Musculoskeletal Cases: success reported with Infrared treatments by medical researchers:

  • TMJ Arthritis
  • Traumatic Arthritis
  • Acel-dacel Injury
  • Sequelae Disc-protrusion
  • Brain Contusion-accelerated healing
  • Tight Shoulders- relaxed
  • Shoulder Pain – relieved or eliminated
  • Bursitis – eliminated
  • Muscle Spasms – reduced or eliminated
  • Low Back Pain – relieved
  • Post-exercise Muscle Pain – vital to competitive athletes
  • Spinal Cord Shock-post traumatic shock reversed
  • Muscle Tension - relaxed

"Medical practitioners make use of Infrared Radiant Heat to Treat sprains, bursitis, peripheral vascular diseases, arthritis, and muscle pain…" according to the McGraw/Hill Encyclopedia of Science & Technology.

Dr. Rubin P. Lysiak M.D. of the O&P Medical Clinic has reported great success with the use of infrared treatment for:

  • Whiplash
  • Menopause
  • Shoulder Stiffness
  • Pheaumatism
  • Gastroenteric Problems
  • Sciatica
  • Arthritis
  • Insomnia
  • Acne
  • Ear Diseases

The following is summarized from Therapeutic Heat and Cold, 4th Edition, ED. Justus F. Lehmann M.D., Williams and Wilkins, Chapter 9 or concluded from the data therein. Generally it is accepted that heat produces the following desirable therapeutic effects:

It increases the extendibility of collagen tissues.

Tissues heated to 45C and then stretched exhibit a non-elastic residual elongation of about 0.5 – 0.9% that persists after the stretch is removed which does not occur in these same tissues when stretched at normal tissue temperatures. Thus 20 stretching sessions can produce a 10-18% increase in length in tissues so heated and stretched.

This effect would be especially valuable in working with ligaments, joint capsules, tendons, fasciae, and synovium that have become scarred, thickened or contracted.

Such stretching at 45C caused much less weakening in stretched tissues for a given elongation that a similar elongation produced at normal tissue temperatures.

The experiments cited clearly showed that low-force stretching can produce significant residual elongation when heat is applied together with stretching or range-of –motion exercises, which is also sager than stretching tissues at normal tissue temperatures.

This safer stretching effect is crucial in properly training competitive athletes so as to minimize their "down" time from injuries.

It decreases joint stiffness directly.

There was a 20% decrease in stiffness at 45 ºC as compared with 33ºC in rheumatoid finger joints, which correlated perfectly to both subjective and objective observation of stiffness.
Any stiffened joint and thickened connective tissues should respond in a similar fashion.

It relieves muscle spasms.

Muscle spasms have long been observed to be reduced through the use of heat, be they secondary to underlying skeletal, joint, or neuropathological conditions.

This result is possibly produced by the combined effect of heat on both primary and secondary afferents from spindle cells and from its effects on Golgi tendon organs.

The effects produced by each of these mechanisms demonstrated their peak effect within the therapeutic temperature range obtainable with radiant heat.

It produces pain relief

  • Pain may be relieved via the reduction of attendant or secondary muscle spasms.

  • Pain is also at times related to ischemia due to tension or spasm which can be improved by the hyperemia that heat-induced vasodilatation produces, thus breaking the feedback loop, in which the ischemia leads to further spasm and then more pain.

  • Heat has been shown to reduce pain sensation by direct action on both free-nerve ending s in tissues and on peripheral nerves. In one dental study, repeated heat applications led finally to abolishment of the whole nerve responsible for pain arising from dental pulp.

  • Heat may both lead to increased endorphin production and a shutting down of the so-called "spinal gate" of Melzach and Wall, each of which can reduce pain.

It increases blood flow

  • Heating of one area of the body produces reflex-modulated vasodilations in distant-body areas, even in the absence of a change in core body temperature’ i.e. heat one extremity and the contra lateral extremity also dilates; heat a forearm and both lower extremities dilate; heat the front of the trunk and the hand dilates.

  • Heating of muscles produces an increased blood flow level similar to that seen during exercise.

  • Temperature elevation produces an increase in blood flow and dilation directly in capillaries, arterioles and venuies, probably through direct action on their smooth muscles. The release of bradykinin, released as a consequence of sweat-gland activity, also produces increased blood flow and vasodilatation.

  • Whole-body hypothermia, with a consequent core temperature elevation, further induces vasodilatation via a hypothalamic-induced decrease in sympathetic tone on the arteriovenous anastomoses. Vasodilatation is also produced by axonal reflexes and by reflexes that change vasomotor balance.

It assists in resolution of inflammatory infiltrates, edema and exudates.

The increased peripheral circulation provides the transport needed to help evacuate the edema which can help end inflammation, decrease pain and help speed healing.

Blood Circulation

All of the following ailments may be associated to some degree with poor circulation and, thus, may respond well to the increased peripheral dilation associated with IR application:

  • Arthritis
  • Sciatica
  • Backaches
  • Hemorrhoids
  • Nervous Tension
  • Diabetes
  • Over-tired Muscles
  • Strained Muscles
  • Varicose Veins
  • Neuritis
  • Bursitis
  • Rheumatism
  • Fatigue
  • Upset Stomach
  • Stretch Marks
  • Menstrual Cramps
  • Leg and Decubitus Ulcers failing to heal using conventional approaches

Post-operative Edema: treatment with infrared has been so successful that hospital stays were reported to have been reduced by 25%.

Peripheral Occlusive Disease: "The goal is to maintain an optimal blood flow rate to the affected part... In general the temperature should be maintained at the highest level which does not increase the circulatory discrepancy as shown by cyanosis and pain." Therapeutic Heat and Cold pp.456-7

"Warming up to Far Infrared" by D.J. Fletcher

For many, the biggest news in FIR technology is its application in the evolving science of detoxification, and the device being used is the far-infrared sauna. At home and in clinics, these saunas are said to yield many benefits--including relief from different kinds of pain; stimulation of immune response; improvement in skin tone and conditions such as burns, eczema and acne; and the accelerated burning of calories. But the detox application is health news that can benefit everyone.

"Traditional wisdom has suggested that saunas work largely by promoting detoxification through the sweat," says John C. Cline, M.D., B.Sc., C.C.F.P., A.B.C.T., Medical Director of the Cline Medical Centre and Oceanside Functional Medicine Research Institute, located on Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada. "Saunas also stimulate cells to release toxins which can then be eliminated by the liver and bowel. Several published studies have now shown that this hyperthermic therapy can bring about the rapid removal of a wide range of toxic substances from the human body."

The FIR energy emitted in these saunas may induce two or three times the sweat volume of conventional saunas, yet they operate at a much cooler air temperature range: about 110º to 130ºF, compared with 180º to 235ºF in a conventional sauna. Many individuals who cannot tolerate a conventional sauna, steam room or sweat lodge will find FIR saunas pleasant. The lower heat range is also safer for those with cardiovascular risk factors or fragile health because lower temperatures don't dramatically elevate heart rate and blood pressure.

Dr. Cline points out that methods to induce sweating have been used for centuries to bring about improved health and relief from disease. "Over 2,000 years ago," he says, "the famous Greek physician, Parmenides, stated 'give me a chance to create fever, and I will cure any disease.' This traditional wisdom has certainly stood the test of time. Using methods ranging from hot mineral baths and sweat lodges to saunas and steam baths, individuals have enjoyed the revitalizing effects of induced hyperthermia--the artificial elevation of body temperature.

Scientists are taking a serious look at hyperthermic therapy as a means to detoxify environmentally ill individuals.

"Sweat therapy has also been used for many years by miners in Europe to prevent and treat occupational heavy metal poisoning, and studies have now demonstrated that hyperthermic therapy can bring about significant detoxification from heavy metals including mercury. But only in recent years has science begun to seriously examine this age-old healing technique. Now, organizations such as the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency have taken a serious look at hyperthermic therapy as a means to detoxify individuals who are ill from exposure to environmental poisons."

Randy Gomm of Infraredsauna.net, based in Vancouver, became a distributor of FIR saunas after his life was turned around by detoxification. As a firefighter, his health had begun to deteriorate until he was no longer able to work. He was diagnosed with fibromyalgia, and eventually it was realized that the root of his problem was toxic overload from occupational exposure. During the eight years he was ill, he says, he had a lot of time to research alternative modalities to regain his health. "I discovered that leading researchers in fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue syndrome stated that their patients had high toxic loads," says Randy. "When their loads were reduced, their symptoms often improved dramatically. It worked for me. Detoxing really helped put me back on my feet."

Environmental medical specialist Doris J. Rapp, M.D., of Scottsdale, Arizona, a well-known pediatrician, allergist, homeopath and past president of the American Academy of Environmental Medicine, states unequivocally, "Everybody in this country needs to be detoxified because we've all become 'toxic dumpsites.'" Dr. Rapp began using a far-infrared sauna personally after seeing a similar procedure being employed in a German clinic. She was impressed with the clinic's work in detoxifying young children and infants. Dr. Rapp affirms that her FIR sauna causes her to perspire profusely, and she adds, "I'm hoping to see more patient outcome studies on FIR sauna use--studies that will further evaluate the efficacy of this treatment and impartially evaluate the various saunas."

Hyperthermic detoxification using these saunas is not only uniquely helpful in removing fat-stored toxins from the body but also as an adjunct to mercury removal. Dr. Dietrich Klinghardt, M.D., of Seattle, who has been called "the holistic doctors' doctor and teacher," is one of the pioneers in combining the use of FIR saunas with the chelating agent DMPS in a heavy metal detox protocol.

Dr. Cline explains, "Given that hyperthermic sauna therapy removes metal contaminants from the body by a different mechanism than chelation therapy mechanism than chelation therapy we have found that it may be used to further the benefits derived from chelation therapy. And we have also found that it may be an alternative for those who are
unable to undergo chelation.

How Do You Know If You Need Detoxification?

Toxic overload has been implicated in many health conditions, from fibrocystic breast disease (FBD) in women to attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) in children.

Symptoms of overload include fatigue, headaches, joint or muscle pain, frequent colds and flus, signs of allergy and hormonal imbalance. chemical sensitivity, sinus congestion, psoriasis and other skin conditions, loss of dexterity, insomnia and more.

Psychological symptoms include poor concentration, memory loss, mood changes, mental confusion and changes in behavior. To set up an appropriate detox regimen, consult a physician.

'Research conducted by U.S. scientists has demonstrated that close to 80% of individuals with chronic fatigue syndrome will improve markedly by a guided detoxification program. The program involves nutritional organization of detoxification using a low-energy diet and UltraClear Plus, a medical food product designed at the Functional Medicine Research Center in Washington. This approach, called 'enterohepatic resuscitation,' is being used by healthcare practitioners around the world. We combine this approach with hyperthermic therapy using the far-infrared sauna, as well as exercise and chelation. The results we are seeing are very promising.

Dr. Rapp adds, "If far-infrared saunas work, why wait to use them? In our homes and healthcare facilities, we need to use these saunas to detox the same way we exercise-safely and effectively. People need information about what nutrients and minerals to take, how to stay hydrated, and a reminder to shower after the sauna. It's not going to do much good to spend time detoxing if you don't wash off those toxins afterwards. And don't overlook the importance of educating yourself and your children about sources of environmental toxins and allergens. Your future health depends on it!"

IR thermal systems use infrared energy to penetrate the body’s tissue to a depth of over 1 1/2". Tests have shown that the energy output is tuned so closely to the body’s own radiant energy that our bodies absorb close to 93% of the infrared waves that reach our skin, known as conversion. By comparison, conventional saunas must rely only on indirect means of heat: first, on convection (air currents) and then, conduction (direct contact of hot air with the skin) to produce its heating effects. The IR sauna is able to produce upwards to three times the sweat volume at much lower temperatures (110-130F vs. 180-230F). The IR sauna is significantly less costly to operate and does not heat up the area outside of the sauna.

Far Infrared Saunas are able to remove heavy metal toxins (sweat analysis chart above), that accumulate due to sluggish elimination or exposure. Many clinics’ detoxification programs utilize IR Saunas for mercury toxicity, which they claim, is eliminated through the stool, hair and urine.

Anyone experiencing the following symptoms that are often linked to toxicity can benefit greatly from using an infrared sauna.

  • Allergies
  • Acne
  • Anxiety
  • Burning Skin
  • Brain Fog
  • Chronic Fatigue
  • Depression
  • Eczema
  • Frequent Colds
  • Insomnia
  • Memory Loss
  • Mood Swings
  • Muscle Pain
  • Joint Pain
  • Concentration

The same combination of "resonant absorption" and low heat that effectively removes heavy metal toxicity from the body, also improves the immune system. A typical infrared sauna session causes a brief 1-3 degree increase in body temperature. Fever is the body’s defense against bacteria, microbes and consequent infection. This beneficial side effect triggers the production of white blood cells (leukocytes) by your bone marrow and killer T cells by your thymus, resulting in strengthening the immune system.

"Why would you want to sweat so much,
and what's the big deal?"

Excerpts from the book Sweat, by Mikkel Aaland

Sitting in a sweat bath could be the most vigorous activity you've had all day. The heat produces an artificial "fever" and urges every organ of the body into action. While outwardly relaxed, your inner organs are as active as though you were jogging or mowing the lawn. At the same time, you are being cleansed from inside out by the skin, your body's largest organ and its excretion, sweat.

The oldest know medical document, the Ayurveda, appeared in Sanskrit in 568 BC and considered sweating so important to health that it prescribed the sweat bath and thirteen other methods of inducing sweat.

Throughout history physicians have extolled the medicinal value of the sweat bath in its various forms such as the Finnish sauna, Russian banai, Islamic hammam, or the American Indian sweatlodge.

Today, enthusiasts claim that beyond being relaxing the sauna gives relief from the common cold, arthritis, headaches, hangovers and "just about anything that ails you."

Even if these claims are somewhat exaggerated, medical evidence shows that bathing in temperatures of 9O degrees C (192 degrees F) has a profoundly beneficial effect on a healthy body.

Sweating

Sweating is as essential to our health as eating and breathing. It accomplishes three important things: rids the body of wastes, regulates the critical temperature of the body at 37 degrees C (98.6 degrees F), and helps keep the skin clean and pliant.

Many people, in this sedent ary age, simply don't sweat enough, making sweat bathing particularly desirable during these times. Antiperspirants, artificial environments, smog, synthetic clothing, and a physically idle lifestyle all conspire to clog skin pores and inhibit the healthy flow of sweat. These detrimental effects are reversed in a sweat bath.*

[*The physiological effects of different sweat baths are not the same, due to variations in heat and humidity. For example, the body sweats more profusely in the hotter (80-100 degree C) and drier (15-25%) atmosphere of the Turkish bath, where moisture on your body is often merely condensation. The length of time spent in the sauna differs from time spent in other types of sweat baths. In this section, results peculiar to the sauna are noted.]

When you lounge in a sweat bath, heat sensitive nerve endings produce acetylcholine, a chemical which alerts the 2.3 million sweat glands embedded in the skin. But not all of them respond. The aprocine sweat glands, located in the pubic and arm pit areas, are activated only by emotional stimuli. They carry a faint scent whose purpose is believed to arouse the sex drive.

Nevertheless, the eccrine sweat glands, by far the most abundant, respond to heat. During a 15-minute sauna, about one liter of sweat is excreted, depending upon the individual. (Normal daily rate ranges from .5 to 1.5 liters.) Eccrine sweat is clear and odorless; any odor is only created by the presence of bacteria. One of its chief functions is to cool the body by evaporation, although there are also eccrine glands on the palms of your hands and soles of your feet which react to emotional stimuli. Like the baseball batter who wets his hands for a better grip, it is believed these sweat glands were intended to provide us with a good grip on clubs, rocks or vines when our survival often depended upon them. Sweat glands on the feet provided greater traction when it came time to run.

A third kind of sweat, called insensible perspiration, originates inside and works its way through blood and other cells to the surface of the skin. Even without a sweat bath, approximately a liter of insensible perspiration evaporates each day. A modified type of sweat gland is the milk-producing mammary gland. Some mothers in Finland believe the sauna encourages the breast's ability to produce milk, although this hasn't been established scientifically. Sweat also has the function of being a judicious garbage collector. During a 15-minute sauna, sweating can perform the heavy metal excretion that would take the kidneys 24 working hours. Ninety-nine percent of what sweat brings to the surface of the skin is water, but the remaining one percent is mostly undesirable wastes. Excessive salt carried by sweat is generally believed to be beneficial for cases of mild hypertension. Some mental hospitals use saunas in their rehabilitation programs to pacify patients. A metabolic by-product, urea, if not disposed of regularly, can cause headaches, nausea and, in extreme cases, vomiting, coma and even death. Sweating is such an effective de-toxifier that some physicians recommend home saunas to supplement kidney machines. Sweat also draws out lactic acid which causes stiff muscles and contributes to general fatigue. Sweat flushes out toxic metals such as copper, lead, zinc and mercury which the body absorbs in polluted environments.

Tips for using your Infrared SAUNA DOME

For optimal benefits, set your controls to maintain a sauna temperature that is comfortable for you. Please remember that infrared heat is simply radiant energy in the form of a band of light that radiates heat penetrating the skin to a depth of 1-1/2 inches or more. This radiant heat is efficient because it warms the body internally, not the air. Setting higher temperatures may add to personal discomfort with very little therapeutic value. To regulate the temperature in your SAUNA DOME during use adjust the temperature controls for both sections of the SAUNA DOME.

  • For optimal results refrain from using the sauna on a full stomach.
  • It is important to remain hydrated. For best results drink water prior, during and after your sauna session.
  • Do not apply excess body lotion to your body prior to a sauna session.
  • Use at least 2-3 towels:
Lay down on one towel for perspiration absorption and cushioning.
Use another towel under your head to absorb extra sweat.
Use a third towel to wipe off your body surface sweat.
  • At the first sign of a cold or flu, increasing sauna sessions may be beneficial in boosting the immune system and decreasing the reproductive rate of viruses and bacteria.
  • As your body becomes more heat conditioned, you may want to increase your sauna session to 45 minutes or longer.

Please remember to hydrate your system with plenty of water during the full session.

Note: many people with heavy metal, chemical or pesticide toxicity levels may find it difficult to sweat initially; for some individuals it may require 5-10 sessions before measurable sweat volume is evident, but continuous water intake will enhance detoxification. Even without measurable sweat, the IR sauna is helping to eliminate toxins through urine, bowels and hair.

What is Far Infrared (FIR)?

FIR infrared ray energy is a part of the natural light spectrum of sunlight, minus the skin damaging UV, which is why NASA spacecraft have utilized this heat. In Asia and Europe it has already revolutionized health and beauty products.

Far Infrared ray is a form of light energy form the sun. It falls within the same family of Infrared Rays in the light spectrum, but due to its longer wavelengths the human eye, cannot see FIR. The energy is ESSENTIAL & BENEFICIAL for all human beings.

FIR has the ability to penetrate, refract, radiate & reflect. The human body can absorb FIR because of its deep penetrating ability. When FIR penetrates through the skin to the subcutaneous tissues, it transforms from light energy into heat energy. The thermal effect within the deep layers of tissues cause blood vessels in capillaries to dilate, promoting better blood circulation, and the heat produced helps to get rid of body toxins and metabolic wastes through sweating.

What are the benefits of a FIR?

If there was a way to increase bodily energy, lose weight, decrease stress, detoxify the body, improve circulation and purify the skin while elevating the immune system to fight off everything from the common cold, asthma, bronchitis (and other respiratory conditions) to serious life quality threatening illnesses, what would it be worth?

What if all a person had to do to receive such benefits was relax and lay down for 15 to 30 minutes a day, three or four times a week, listening to music- now what would that be worth?

Hundreds of years ago, people discovered and turned to heat therapy as a source of natural healing for many illnesses and discomforts. FIR heat is simply and naturally rising to the top of health regime requirements.

Activated by heat, the FIR material emits FIR energy that is absorbed by human cells, causing a physical phenomenon called "RESONANCE". Thus, the cellular activities are instantly invigorated, resulting in better blood circulation and an overall improved metabolism.

FIR heat therapy can aid in weight loss by speeding metabolic processes of vital organs and endocrine glands resulting in a substantial caloric loss in a heat session.

It also increases heart rate and blood circulation, both crucial to maintaining one's health. The heart rate increases as more blood flow is diverted from the inner organs towards the extremities of the skin without heightening blood pressure.

In a case of injury, heat stimulates vasodilatation of peripheral blood vessels, bringing oxygen to joints and extremities, relaxation of stiff muscles, speeding the healing of sprains and strains. The increased blood flow helps aching and injured muscles recover faster because of the stronger blood flow and the quicker metabolic and toxic waste productions purged from the body through the skin during perspiration. The skin is known in Chinese medicine as the third kidney because it is believed to be responsible for eliminating up to 30% of body waste.

FIR Heat Therapy allows increased blood circulation to carry great amounts of nutrients to the skin, thus promoting healthy tone, texture and mild cleansing of the skin.

What the Researchers say about FIR

Infrared energy is not only safe, but also highly beneficial for our bodies. Far Infrared lamps are actively used for medical treatments by Doctors, Chiropractors, Acupuncturists, Physical Therapists, Massage Therapists for: arthritis, joint pain, stiff muscles, injuries to tendons and ligaments to promote a faster self-body healing effect.

Infrared heat is "RADIANT" heat. Radiant heat is simply a form of energy that heats objects directly through a process called conversions without heaving to heat the air in between

Radiant heat is also called Infrared Energy (IR). The infrared segment of the electromagnetic spectrum cannot be seen, but can be perceived as heat. Our atmosphere has a "window" in it that allows IR rays in the 7-14 micron range to safely reach the earth's surface. When warmed, the earth radiated infrared rays in the 7-14 micron band with its peak output at 10 microns.

According to Dr. Tsu-Tsair Oliver Chi, in his summation on the mechanism of actions of infrared devices turned to the human body. Tissues needing a boost in their output selectively absorb these rays. The internal production of the infrared energy that normally occurs within our tissues is associated with a variety of healing responses and may require a boost to a maximal level to insure the fullest healing response possible in a tissue, which is being repaired. After boosting a tissue's level to its maximum, the remaining rays pass onward harmlessly. This phenomenon is called "RESONANT ABSORPTION".
